As evidence they point out silly little things like in Genesis where God had to look for Adam in the Garden of Eden, or later on in the book of Genesis [Gen. ] they point out that God had to go down to Sodom and Gomorrah to find out how bad their sin actually was [Gen. ].   Does this mean that the only prayer that God hears from a sinner is the prayer that leads to his/ her salvation? Some examples. Let us look at some of the instances where God answered the prayers of unbelievers and what happened to them as a result. Cornelius (Acts ) Cornelius was a Roman centurion.

If that is you, I can assure you God does hear your prayers and He does answer them. How do I know God hears and answers us? Not only have I experienced answered prayer in my own life, but Daniel’s experience recorded for us in Scripture also tells us God hears and answers prayer. Daniel’s experience. In Daniel chapter 9, we see God not. Does the Bible teach we should get our private marching orders, our “assignments,” directly from God? It does not. Instead, we should seek God’s “voice” in the place Scripture tells us to: the Word. Spiritual maturity is not the ability to hear God’s voice. It is the ability to .

From my experience, I know many of their doubts, and from the research we conducted for the book Already Gone, we know that two-thirds of these young people will leave the church by college age. So I began giving them answers to help them understand how we know God’s Word is : Ken Ham. Question: "Does God hear my prayers?" Answer: God hears everything, including prayers.

He is God. Nothing gets by Him (Psalm –4). He is sovereign over everything He created (Isaiah –11). So the question is not whether God is aware of every prayer (He is), but whether God is tuning in to our prayers with an intent to answer them.

Once you grasp God’s love for you and how He wants to be involved in your life, you can begin to hear His still small voice and see His hand in your everyday dealings. Read and share these three resources about hearing God’s voice to grow closer to.

I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. (Isaiah NKJV) “Ho. Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. {2} Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy.

Verse - We know - the new-born disputant takes up the language of these proud casuists, and adopts the technical phrase which they had used (vers. 24, 29) - we know, you and I, t hat God heareth not sinners in any special sense of miraculous approval (Job ; Job ; Psalm ; and especially Psalm19; Proverbs ; Isaiah ).One aspect of Old Testament teaching shows.

The book of Revelation says that some day in the future the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders who live around the throne will sing this song before God.

Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are. Again, we may not hear God’s literal voice, but His Spirit confirms a certain direction or answer for us.

As the distractions fade, we can sense His leading in a new way. Scripture tells us of a number of records that God keeps—records that reflect His power, faithfulness, and love. The Works of All People “I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the.

19 But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. 20 Blessed be God because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me. Psalm ESV I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and he will hear me.

Psalm ESV O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah. Billy Graham. God has the ability to speak to those who believe in Him, even if it's not through an audible voice, the Rev.

Billy Graham says. Graham, founder of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, says in his "My Answers" question-and-answer column on the organization's website that God can communicate in a variety of ways, including through prayer, the church community, and the Bible.

A person who gives this some thought and yet does not regard it [music] as a marvelous creation of God, must be a clodhopper indeed and does not deserve to be called a human being; he should be permitted to hear nothing but the braying of asses and the grunting of hogs.

God does not operate that way. We cannot think that God owes us anything for the good works that we do. In fact, if we do any good thing at all, it is only because we ought to do it anyway. Anything good that we have from God is by His grace, not because we can earn it. (47) He that is of God heareth God's wordsAgain He answers the question which He has Himself asked, and gives more fully the same reason which He gave in John In John He asserted that they were of the father the devil, and therefore lived to do the lusts of the devil.

In the same way he who is of God does the will of God, and hears the words of God. from the How to Hear from God book and CDs and practically apply the biblical principles about communicating with God.

As you read each of the four sections, you’ll discover how to go deeper in your personal relationship with Him. You will gain a stron-ger confidence that File Size: 1MB. When we pray, God will hear, and He will answer us with “yes,” “no,” or “wait.” Hearing God’s clear answers to our petitions is essential.

As you spend time with your heavenly Father through prayer, and as you learn to know Him through His Word, you will hear His voice; you will learn to view the circumstances of your life with. Other passages also let us hear God’s voice, even if they don’t use the phrase the will of God.

But, just taking the three above passages, we know that a Christian should always give thanks in every circumstance, avoid sexual immorality, and live an exemplary life. 2 Keys to Understanding the Heart of God. By Jeremy Myers 6 Comments. It is not that we get to blame others for what we do, or even that God lets us off the hook for our sin, but that God forgives us for what we do, partly because He knows what led up to it.

God even hears our prayers when we can’t even put them into words–times, for example, when our hearts are too burdened or confused even to speak. The Bible says, “the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express” (Romans ).

Even though the issue of pain and suffering is a legitimate topic it does not negate all of the positive, affirmative evidence we have for the existence of God, he said. Strobel then asked, "So, what does God reveal about this issue to us to help us process?" "The first thing is this. God is not the creator of evil, pain, and suffering.

They model for us how to complain to God in a way that honors him. And they are themselves expressions of God’s care and compassion for us because in them we see that we are not as alone as we feel and that God indeed does understand.

And if we have ears to hear, the psalms of lament also guard us from an over-realized eschatology in this age. In situations today when we feel like running, may God find us instead on our knees—before a God who hears and a God who sees.

The Lord wants us to learn to turn to Him rather than run to Egypt during what seems inescapable despair. As we wait on the Lord, we have His promise that He waits with us, for God hears our prayers and God sees our.

Willard’s book, Hearing God: Developing a Conversational Relationship with God, hopes to prove that “as with all close personal relationships, we can surely count on God to speak to each of us when and as it is appropriate,” (10).

That speaking may come in a variety of forms, but it is Willard’s opinion that above all, what must hold. How does God know us? Answer: He knows us completely, intimately, thoroughly, inside and out, with nothing hidden but everything seen as it really is (Psalms ; Hebrews ).

When we get to heaven we'll know each other as God knows us because all .
